PCMS School Lunch Program
In the interest of providing a lunch to students in need, as well as offering a lunch option to all PCMS families, Paradise Charter Middle School is adding a school lunch program in the 2018-2019 school year. Lunches will be available from the “Urban Outlaw” food truck (local, Magalia) Monday through Wednesday and from our traditional PCMS vendors (Mountain Mike’s, Subway, Meeho’s) on Thursdays. The PCMS Student Council-operated Snack Shed will continue to offer some snacks and microwaves to heat up food for students, but will no longer offer any hot entrees for sale. Mountain Mike’s pizza slices will be sold on most Fridays through the office for $2/slice.
Lunch Program Pricing
Cost of lunches Monday-Thursday will be $4 each for full-priced lunches. Lunches will be provided at a cost of $1 each for students who qualify for a reduced cost lunch and at no cost to those who qualify for a free lunch. Funds from the PCMS general budget will cover the costs of the free and reduced lunches. Every family at PCMS must complete an income survey. We will notify you by mail if your family qualifies for free or reduced meals.
All Monday-Thursday Urban Outlaw and vendor lunches will need to be purchased through our new online ordering program. We hope you will find ordering lunches to be easy and intuitive. You will find step-by-step instructions for getting started on the HotLunchOnline site.
Please contact us if you have any questions regarding use of the program.
